Bergwelten
Schierke

Schierke is a village in the Harz district, in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. Situated within the Harz mountain range in the valley of the Bode River, at the rim of the Harz National Park. The mountain worlds Schierke combines nature, sports, games and modern leisure infrastructure in four seasons to a unique experience. At the heart of the project is a ten-person gondola lift from Schierke to Winterberg. The opening is planned for 2020. The unique nature around the highest mountain in the Harz Mountains surrounded by the national park is put in scene from different angles. Native wild live and tickets to nature are highlighted as well as the German reunification and the fall of the iron curtain.

SKIMIS is project manager and oversees all operational aspects of the planning and product development within the ski area.

Broken River

Broken River Ski Area is situated in the Craigie burn Forest Park, one and a half hours drive of Christchurch; it operates five rope tow lifts, day lodge, three accommodation lodges, a cable driven tramway and 7km access road. This distinctive ski area is operated by the Broken River Ski Club (BRSC), a not for profit, incorporated society.

SKIMIS managed the entire winter operations of all ski lifts in the resorts including but not limited to day to day operations, the snow safety program, rescue program and the maintenance crew.

Diedamskopf – The Family Ski Area and the highest destination in the Bregenzerwald. Situated in Schoppernau in the Bregenz district in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg. A total of 40 km trails and ski runs: 13 km blue trails, 18 km red trails, 9 km black trails, including 4 restaurants within access road in the winter and Fun Park with more than 30 obstacles. Sports and nature lovers are enthused by the mountain lift stations of Diedamskopf in winter as well as summer.

The ski area is particularly popular amongst families with children.

Schetteregg ski area is in the Bregenzwald, district of Bregenz at an altitude of between 1,100 and 1,400 metres. There are six lifts and 10 kilometres of slopes ideal for families with kids. Every slope has a mascot who tells you what kids need to be able to do to ski this slope. The Kids’ Paradise with a ski carousel, two magic carpet, igloo, climbing hill and tubing course, is freely accessible. 

With its new interactive ski learning environment for kids SKIMIS developed an award winning campaign. Skimis managed and monitored all operational aspects of the one season ski resorts.
